As the weather is getting chillier we are exploring this temperature
change outside, and inside! When going outside, we can feel the bite
in the air, and on the ground under our feet. The cold provides an
opportunity for our community to learn the importance of the clothing
we wear outside. The socks on our feet, to keep our toes warm, the
jacket’s on our bodies, to keep our arms and bellies warm, and the
hats on our head to keep our faces warm. Along with this, we have been
able to explore other materials that come along with the fall season,
such as pumpkins, crunchy leaves, and even hay. All our senses are
engaged, as we smell the difference in the air, feel it in our bodies,
and even taste it when we have warm soup outside to contrast the brisk
air. When we are inside together, we are able to see the chilly weather
from our windows, including the condensation that gathers to say
hello. We also welcome the chance to open the door and watch the rain
as a community. Mini pumpkins have come inside as well, for the
community to be able to touch and explore, while outside a pumpkin was
opened for an exciting sensory experience!

as our community loves to do!
